ToME WikiPaths of the dead guardian won't show up. 21 attempts at level 70. 21 failures! He won't show up in my unique list.
The bottom level of that dungeon is 70. The guardian is level 77 according to the beastmaster.
I'm suspecting he has some flag that prevents him from showing up before dungeonlevel = guardianlevel; but that someone made him more powerful and changed his level from 70 to 77.
Or is the in-game spoiler obsolete and the dungeon guardian has been removed/changed??
In any case my previous character couldn't find him either; and he wasn't showing up in unique list either.
This is NOT a case of guardian couldn't be generated because small dungeon flag is always on. The dungeons are big.
Any explanations??
MassimilianoMarangio: Cannot confirm the bug. I entered the level 5 times and found each time the dungeon guardian.
Simon: new character and new class, 7 times he didn't show up (including a small level where he should be near if generated).
I was at max sanity so I should have recognized him by now...
