ToME WikiThe Blood of Life seems to not activate sometimes. My last character got hit by some chaos breath at low HP, and died. I was asked if I wanted to make a dump - despite having the Blood of Life supposedly running in my veins! I clicked 'yes', not knowing it'd cause a crash, and my last save was restored. I tried to repeat the circumstances, and when my character died, I again wasn't saved. Then I tried it one more time, and I was saved by the Blood of Life. No clue why it kicked in only sometimes. If this is intended behaviour, it isn't mentioned anywhere I could find in the spoilers.
