BugReport836 - Automatizer in game editor Broken (AND/OR)
Description
In ToME 2.3.4 in game Automatizer editor is unable to add OR and AND constructs to rules.
If the file already has an AND or an OR it will be able to add additional items to them, but is not able to add new AND or OR conditions.
Testing
- I first tried deleting my automatizer file entirely, no change.
- I deleted my entire tome installation and re-installed 2.3.4 from the webpage, no change.
- I installed tome 2.3.4 on a second computer and it doesn't work on that computer either.
- I installed 2.3.3 and the automatizer in game editor works correctly, so it was a change that was made between tome 2.3.3 and 2.3.4 that caused it to break.
- (All testing done on Windows Build)
Other Info
It makes adding new rules in game almost impossible unless you're going to put one item/condition per rule.
Generally I use a modified automatizer based on http://www.hakubi.us/tome/automat.atm but I was going through and trying to write one that uses no TVAL/SVAL or I wouldn't have noticed. I don't know how many new people use the automatizer so not sure how much it would effect people since most of us already have rulesets we use.
PeterWiersig: I can add AND/OR rules with 2.3.4 without problems. The interface and the imposed rule structure makes it not easy and on failure no feedback is given.
Try this: New Rule, add <and>, then press right to highlite (purple) the "All of the following are true:" rule and add rules which must be true to that.
