At birth, a character's SP counter is set to zero, regardless of what their maximum SP is. This is not a very big problem for most characters, but for Lost Souls it is *lethal*.
shoob: I think that was lord estraven, but Ok, so if you die with a character and then you do a quick start you should start with max mana for real, but I do agree, the game should force not just the hp to be max, but also the mana. It is also not really that lethal, since you can go up and down and regain your mana, at the cost of the levels stuff.
