ToME WikiSo I'm tanking along in the Void, having finished the nether realm with my latest Geomancer, and I finally drop the bomb on Melkor.
My hard drive starts making noise and the light goes flashy, and then I get the pleasant windows message asking me whether I want to file an error report.
Not sure what happened, and it's possible it may not be ToME's fault (this computer is a clunker, my normal PC is in the shop because short-circuited motherboards aren't very useful). I'd been playing for ~2 hours when it happened, and as usual I hadn't saved. I haven't noticed similar crashes in any other programs I've been running, and I can't recall ever having this happen before (last time I played on this computer was running 2.3.1).
Fiddlesticks. Oh well, I was cheesin' the Sky Drakes to win anyway.
LordEstraven: I'm not an expert on this stuff, but it sounds like the machine might have hard drive problems...
