Okay this character is mostly an intellectual excersize inspired by "The Trapper" series.
Crayn the Classical Beorning Demonologist
Plan: Invest in Disarming and gain trapping, invest in archery enough to gain 'create ammo', use the traps as a tool to weaken tough opponents and to hopefully make me play a little more carefully.

Skill Plan: Does not take into account FF bonuses
Combat 47.6
Weaponmastery 50
Swordmastery 50
Disarm 15
Archery 10
Demonology 50
Prayer 25
Trapping 10
Create Ammo 8

Any spare points gained by Quests will go to Magic for mana and to max combat.
Note: Since ive started this character he has had the most boring dungeon crawling i have ever experienced...stupid molds.

Thieves Quest

Alright the interesting thing about Beornings is that their bearform ability increases in speed through Clevel, so at level 50 i get +5 without having to invest in bearform combat. There are some equipment downsides but hey with any luck i can get them covered. If not, the STR/CON bonuses are nice, Regardless i take my hefty Demonblade and march into the theives den. Several thief bashings later i walk away with some crappy dagger and a +6,+3 boomerang...what a haul. Level-wise it was the same as always, up to Level 5.

Point Allocation -
Swordmastery - 12 points
Disarming - 4 points
Demonology - 8 points
Well that was uneventful, the barrow downs are coming tomarrow which is a moldy adventure, let me assure you of that.

Barrow Downs

A foul odor is belching itself from the downs, i check my equipment and storm into the depths ready to face whatever comes...
A shadowy figure limps out of the darkness,i ready my sword and he freezes. Gasping for breath he falls to his knees and yells to me "Please help me, a group of brown mold have stolen my sword, without it i am nothing. Brown mold...18 of them...what a wuss. Striding off i quicklu find my first mold, and
it brings me to...
level 6:

Disarming - 1
Swordmastery - 5

I am neglecting demonology for now because at wisdom 6 my mana is deplorable, my next targets are the orc cave for piety (which is quickly dropping into the negative 1000 area) and the sandworm layer for some stat potions.

3 more molds and i am to

Level 7, these things are pretty tough.
Swordmastery - 2
Prayer - 4

I am collecting dungeon junk for future archery use...
Man the dungeon feeling for this level is boring and it wasn't kidding
Level 8 and 9 from molds 9 and 16 respectively:

Swordmastery - 4
Prayer - 6 bringing curse to autocast level, now i just need piety and mana
Disarming - 1
Demonology - 1

18 molds later i get the following choices:
Mimicry
Magic-device
Antimagic
Weaponmastery

I am tempted to pick magic device but it doesnt fit in my plan and the weaponmastery will free me some points for combat/magic.

Barrow Downs 2

The same dark figure emerges from the shadows...please help me a group of 20 brown molds have stolen my sword...Oh Come on!! Okay the first try is a small level with no molds, bug maybe? Up the stairs, down the stairs... another smallish level with the molds 3 or 4 to a room it goes real quick and halfway through i advance to...

Level 10:
Swordmastery - 1
Disarming - 1

Saving the other 4 for trapping and my rewards are...

Disarming! - 5.400 modifier, that is the largest FF modifier i have ever seen and fits my plan too
Summoning
Stealth
Conveyance

Barrow Downs 3

"AHHH help me i am being held captive by "11" Green Molds!!!!

Man whoever is making these molds...i am going to seriously eviscerate him/her.

The Lava quest is in the next room over and since these molds release fear spores and i have that nifty ring it is not an issue. I grab one of the molds by it's head, i think, and demand to know who sent him, but he must be well trained as he remains silent. I throttle him to gain my prize and free the princess.

My rewards are...

Khopesh
Short Sword
Morning Star

I pick the morning star for fun, i dont think i have ever picked one, i then head back to Bree where it turns out to be a Morning Star of Slay Demon, appropriate but useless and doesnt sell for much, that is the only note-worthy piece of equipment besides my Staff of Disarm. I have a feeling the 4th level of the downs will hold the secret to the mold infestation. Man this has been boring. Level 4 and the moldy mystery to be revealed.
