Atarlost: Is there any reason to keep it around then? It's not actually from canon and there are canonical knives to use instead. I'd be inclined to go with Angrist and Sting assuming you want both the strong and super slots filled.

ShrikeDeCil It might be worthwhile to have an entry 'Canonical' for each item. So whenever a dispute over exact properties, or 'artifactness' of an item pops up, there's (right in the table/item comments) a reference to the origin. Something short like H:225 for page 225 of the Hobbit.
