Introducing Barhael, the Zombie Hobbit Sniper. He is one of my favourite characters (though before the Theme module, he was just an Archer), and I'm determined to take him through to a win one day. This time wasn't Barhael's time, though - he just got killed by a fire breath from a Green Thunderlord as he (belatedly) realized he didn't have fire resistance and was heading to a quiet spot to zap his rod of Recall and rethink his kit. D'oh! Well, he's a Zombie so he'll be back, perhaps as a regular Archer this time, or a priest of Varda. >:)
He was headed through Moria in hopes of finding fire immunity (go figure!), and then the destinations were Near Harad, Dol Amroth, and Cirith Ungol (in that order) to look for dungeon towns, plus the Nirnaeth quest before hitting Barad-dur.
Chatter
I was playing Barhael worshipping Varda to see how she plays for someone who isn't a priest and can't afford to put too many points into her worship. Well, let's just say Star Kindler is nothing to sneeze at when it comes to creatures with HURT_LITE and it sure made the Mallorns quest a breeze. It took a while and quite a bit of piety, but it was very useful for not getting close to the critters.
MayLith: Aww.... sorry to hear you lost her! I can't want to try out Theme. (But I *WANT* a win first. ;))
