ToME WikiRavenRed: Just thought I'd mention this. Without G.G. I doubt there would ever have been a Rogue, a Moria, an Angband or a ToME. Although TOME's mechanics have departed significantly from (A)D&D's, and our setting is Tolkienian rather than faux-Tolkienian, he still managed to essentially found the modern RPG and is suitably immortalised as a Half-Troll Store Owner in 2.3.
