KhymChanur: According to Wastrel in ''A Day in the Life of a Trapper'', if a monster trap (player-set trapkit) is between you and a monster, then it can't target you for spells or spell-like attacks. Is this the intended behavior, or a bug? For something like a Rune of Protection, I could understand it blocking targeting, but why should a simplet Catapult Trapset do have an effect so powerful?

Wastrel: I suspect it is not an intended effect. It feels more like abusing a bug to me. You can also not target across a chasm.

NeilStevens: Sounds like a bug to me.

Wastrel: I rarely encounter glass walls, but don't they also prevent targetting while letting light and mindcraft attacks to pass through?

Actius: not only mindcraft, but thaumaturgist view spells (darkness, chaos, plasma, ice, inertia, gravity, etc...) and, I think, area spells (though "through the walls" aspect of area spells is much bigger)
