ToME WikiIt seems a bit of a jump from crappy Lanterns and Torches at 60GP to Feanorian Lamps or Phial of Galadrial.
How about some 'Elven Gems of Light' inbetween, or 'Gems of Starlight which provide a x8 Light radius or something, but with minimal additional benefits?

GrootheWanderer: First you say it's a big jump from torches and lanterns to Feanorean lamps and then you suggest a light source with an x8 light radius. Dwarven Lanterns only have a x2 light radius and Feanorean lamps only a x3 light radius. Also, you mention the artifact light sources that add additional benefits. I don't see any benefit to adding additional light sources. By the time you find a Feanorean lamp or an artifact light source, usually you have other equipement that generates light. I believe the max radius on light sources is 5 anyways, which is also the maximum viewable light radius, IIRC.
