RavenRed: Just a quick idea. A new store, similar to the Black Market with a similar array of items, except for one small detail. None of the items are IDed. Prices should range from 30% - 150% of their "real" value, meaning that you can't tell the difference between a cursed ring of teleportation and a ring of speed +18 just by looking.
Buying from this store would therefore be a definite "Lucky Dip". However, it would be extremely handy for low level characters seeking to snap up a bargain / cheap char-related items.
2c worth and counting.

Actius: While I don't know the exact price, I'm under the impression that a ring of speed +18 costs something like 3 million while a cursed ring of teleportation isn't going to cost much more than 3 gold. That's something like a 100000000% difference.
RavenRed: Hmm... yes... a point. Perhaps just set a random price based on weight... or something
Atarlost: Why not just use the price a store would pay for the un ID'd item?
I that would be way too cheap if it just used an unID'd price, as if it was a really really good item it would be way way way to cheap and thus the store would be immensly powerfu, so maybe have the price 10-500 times the unID'd price...
NeilStevens: I don't see this happening in ToME 3, though modules could do it.
