ToME WikiKhymChanur: Two ideas for improving the beastmaster's "reasearch monster" interface.
First, make it use the same interface as monster memory, so you can ask it list monsters based on name, or list only uniques, and such.
Second, make it so that it will skip monsters that have already been researched, unless you're doing a search by name. If you're trying to research every monster under a certain letter, it's annoying to have to go "rr", "rnr", "rnnr", "rnnnr", and so on, and if the list is really long you have to hold down "n" and time things do you don't go too far.
Another little feature I was thinking of wanting earlier today was a "research entire family" option. Would be massively expensive (100k or so), but late game there's not much to spend money on.
