FubarReturns: This is a set of ego modifiers for Runecraft. These modifiers apply to primary runes, e.g. Rune [Fire].
- Dispersing Rune: The radius of effects is increased, but the strength decreased. Ray effects become cones; Spheres' radius is increased by 1; Arrows become spheres in radius 1. Other runes are simply weakened.
- Complex Rune: The casting time and mana cost are increased.
- Faint Rune: The failure rate is increased by 10%.
- Glowing Rune: Using this rune creates light (but not a light attack) in the affected area.
- Dark Rune: Using this rune creates darkness (but not a darkness attack) in the affected area.
- Radiant Rune: Using this rune conveys temporary resistance to the respective element. 1% of the time it conveys temporary immunity.
- Bloody Rune: This rune demands blood! Using this rune costs 1d4 hit points and has a 50% chance of causing a graze.
- Warped Rune: The rune is touched by chaos. 25% of the time, its damage type is changed.
- Demonic Rune: The rune is touched by demonic power. 10% of the time, it summons a hostile level-appropriate demon.
- Rune of Morgul: The rune is touched by the Dark. Using it drains experience and causes cursing.
- Rune of the Istari: The strength of effects is increased by one level.
