ToME WikiThere should be scrolls/potions/spells of Mark and Recall. If you dont know what these do, basically you read the mark spell then can cast the recall spell to return to that location.
Derakon:The big concern I have with this is that it allows controlled teleport. Granted it's on a lesser scale than what Dimension Door was capable of, but even the current level-30-Phase-Door-makes-dimension-gates ability can be very, very powerful with a little prep time. While it's a neat idea, I fear it'd make the game too easy.
TobiasParker: Well there would be a delay, so it wouldn't be like a teleport per se. The uses i imagined were more like transporting to dungeon towns without the stupid thunderlord shop. I dunno, also phase door is powerful because you can use it to teleport monsters, like hey lets teleport trone into some mountains and then use my stolen rock climbing kit to stand next to him and bash his head in knowing he can't summon anything or teleport away because i am wearing the supposedly rare 'Anchor of Space-time' that i somehow find with every character that reaches level 25. [/rant] Anyway...I would just like someway to teleport across the wilderness instead of just to a town and back. Maybe to the only town i get that has a 30k weapon shop, that i have to walk to everytime i have to leave the dungeon.
Derakon: My mistake; I thought you were talking about teleporting on a more local scale. I have no problem with having a finer degree of control over Word of Recall.
