OK, we all have our shovels, but how about a few more tools to get the job done?
1. Skinning Knife (increases chances of corpse preservation)
2. Lockpicks (improves success chance when picking locks)
3. Ten Foot Pole (Grants ability to detect and identify traps adjacent to the player)
4. Lucky Rabbit Foot (Grants a luck bonus)
5. Lucky Vorpal Bunny Foot (Increases chance of critical hits)
6. Rope (Allows crossing pits)
7. Woodaxe (Improves tunneling, but disallows tunneling walls)
8. Flint and Steel (Allows character to burn a wooden or paper object in inventory to light an area)
9. Dowsing Rod (100% chance to detect area mana)
10. Holy Symbol (Grants Spirituality bonus, maybe reduces cost of prayers)
11. Crampons (Prevents character from slipping on ice)
12. Fireworks (Either confuse, stun, deal fire damage, deal sound damage, or all three)
13. Farmer Maggot's Book of Mushrooms (auto-ID on mushrooms while equipped)
ReenenLaurie: Wow... Some of these are really cool. 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, 11 and 13 are really practical, and makes sense and are really cool in general.
shoob: as for 7 at least it is sorta implemented in the alphas, and could be easily made, as tunelling in divided into different regions (wood, web, rock, etc)
