ToME WikiElvishPillager: I was looking through the monster files recently and stumbled on the entry for Ungoliant. It's OK, I suppose, but... level 75? HURT_LITE? about 2/3 the HP of Ancalagon? In the Silmarillion, Ungoliant climes up nigh-impassable mountains, kills the Trees of Valinor, disrupts the call of the Valaroma, blinds Tulkas, binds Melkor (such that he has to call for help! Morgoth should have the Shriek power) and is never defeated except by a horde of Balrogs. All the evidence shows that she's an Ainu, too. So, I wrote some new, awesome-ized stats for her...

ElvishPillager: I think 19600 HP is enough in the way of that 
I mean, hey - there's only one other non-quest unique above 13000 HP. It's Ancalagon, with five immunities, because dragons are the ones who are really really good at being immune to things.
I don't want to give her resists because that's not the way Ungoliant works. She's powerful but vulnerable, except that she makes up for that with her amazing darkness powers and eating everything to grow stronger. Remember - she's draining on average 42 MP from you per +0 speed turn. She doesn't really need those resistances...
What I want to have is a monster-arena debug command so I can test out monsters against each other.

(I still think she ought to have resist darkness though... She is the Unlight after all.)

Doesn't she resist darkness automatically due to darkness breath?
