RavenRed: Just an idea... but perhaps terrain types should have some speed effects...

e.g. Walking through deep lava is not only highly painful, it's slow! -10 Walk speed. Swimming through deep water is EXTREMELY slow -10 Walk and attack speed. Spashing through shallow water is a little tedious, -5 Walk speed. Fighting through small trees is quick, but hard to manuever, -5 attack speed.

... and so on. Some of these would be ameliorated by certain abilities (Tree walking could negate the small-trees penalty, and levitation remove most movement penalties, for example).

This would add a bit of effect to terrain types, and make terrain something that players have to negotiate right up to the end-game...

Christopher: Nice! I agree 100%! Sand should slow you down too, but grass should be confortable for your feet and get a +5 speed boost. Suddenly Yavana seems Ok after all.
