RavenRed: Just a quick'n'dirty idea. Even if you can't disarm a trap, you should still be able to move over the square with a chance of not triggering it. My proposal is a new ability "Avoid Trap" (Pre Req Disarm@10, 5 points, free to Rogues (though not Assassins) at L5) which would allow the player to enter a trap square without triggering the trap. The ability should have a flat 75% success rate, meaning that you can probably use it in a crunch situation, but you'd be a nong to rely on it to save your skin. It's not meant to replace disarming, but to provide a low-cost alternative to those who don't mind a bit of risk.
