RavenRed: Just a thought, but IdeaArchive is now bloody big, and could maybe do with some segmentation so that people can browse within fields and ensure that they don't try to reinvent the wheel for the Nth time.
My suggestions for categories:
- Dungeon Ideas (Includes Traps and Terrain Types)
- Monsters
- Items
- Player Abilities / Skills
- Concepts / Gameplay
A good idea? If so, I'm quite happy to do it myself.
NeilStevens: Just do it. This is a wiki. If you do something bad, people will complain, and you'll get reverted.
In fact, I suggest you put the categories on their own subpages. IdeaArchive/DungeonFeatures, IdeaArchive/Monsters, IdeaArchive/Items, IdeaArchive/Player, IdeaArchive/Interface, IdeaArchive/Other
Since the people who were calling for a clampdown of the docs aren't even around anymore, I should probably remove all those lockdown messages from those pages even...
Just don't move the existing idea pages. Leave them as subpages of IdeaArchive, just to save us all a lot of work. New ideas can be subpages of IdeaArchive or of the IDeaArchive category pages.
By the way, you put this in the wrong page. This should have been in the wiki suggestions page.
RavenRed: Subpages sounds like a good idea, although different pages mean that people have to do a bit of browsing before they can find what they're interested in. I thought I'd get a bit of feedback and suggestions before I made any changes (for example, I hadn't even thought of Interface).
Oh and re: "wrong place for this idea"... <slaps self... hard>
