MayLith: In the Wizard's Spire and analagous shops, there is a command to identify all your possessions, for a price. That command is 'i'.

I propose that we change the key for the identify command in the shops to 'I' (shift+i), instead. In all other shops (and in general), 'i' shows you your inventory. I can't count the times that I've gone to one of those shops and either:

  1. Hit 'i' to ID everything, and then (stupidly) hit 'i' again for the traditional inventory command to see what I've got, or

  2. Get into the shop, forget which wands/staves I'm carrying, and hit 'i' quickly to look at them before (and/or after) recharging them.

Am I the only dyslexic ToME'er who does this??? (*blush*) It's no big deal (just irritating) for a high level character who has plenty of gold, but it can become quite a pain for a lower level char...

Solorin: Seconded. Get's me all the time, now that I'm playing Theme, and that service is in Bree as well, which makes it more convenient to use at early levels.

MassimilianoMarangio: This happened to me, too.

NerdanelVampire: That has nothing to do with dyslexia. It has happened to me also.

kfoelsch Thirded. I do that all the time. ARG!

PaulMoore: Agreed. You can't get at your inventory at all while in the wizard shops, because of this clash.
