MayLith: Once you find and ID a potion or scroll, you know what it is when you encounter it again.

This should also apply to wands and staves, at least partially.

E.g. If I have already once found and ID'd a Wand of Firewall, then if I find another one lying on the floor, I should have at least partial access to the information about it:

Wand strength, number of charges, spell level, spell fail, and spell info (damage, etc) should all still be hidden until the item is ID'd, of course.

NerdanelVampire: Seconded. I've noticed the flaw too. These are the kind of things that the character should be able to remember.

MayLith: Ammos, too. If you *ID* an exploding ammo (say, an arrow) and you are wielding a crossbow, you should still be able to tell what the exploding damage is for. ATM you have to go and get yourself a like missile weapon in order to get these details. Rrrr.
