RavenRed: As a minor idea... GF_WATER and GF_WAVE should have a chance to render scrolls and spellbooks useless, just like fire does. I know very few monsters use this damage type, but I think it'd be a nice and realistic gameplay effect. (To avoid creating additional types of Spellbook, "Fireproof" could be changed to "Enduring", and IGNORE_WATER/WAVE added...)

How about some items giving resistance to Water? I mean it's a pretty safe thing compared to fire or acid? TRM
