Introduction

First started as a Maia Polearmmaster in ToME 2.2.7, I switched to a Maia Axemaster once I found that Eonwe's weapon is an axe in the actual version.

NeilStevens: I suppose Axemasters might get a couple new weapon types for 2.3.0 if this one doesn't work out, eh?

MayLith: Have a look at Cirad again. I was specifically looking for and saving good axes (even though my character couldn't use them) just out of curiosity. (I don't know enough to say whether new weapon types for them would be good or not, of course.)

ZasVid: Neil, you may want to look at http://angband.oook.cz/ladder-show.php?id=3284 for some previous axemaster testing. I'm curious to see whether Massimiliano gets something better (or, actually, something serious at all) in the weapons department. Good luck!

MassimilianoMarangio: I only found Orchast, Limbslicer, the Light War axe of Ice and two nice randarts at the moment.

Finished the last level of Mount Doom: Sauron was also in the third room, he was bypassed with Flare and killed after disposing of the Ring (without entering Angband).

I'm trying to finish the side dungeons before entering Angband. Finished Illusory Castle (collecting the Boots of the Machine and the Helm of Knowledge) and Cirith Ungol (Shelob dropped a randart digger).
