Introduction

I rolled up this character for the competition: a Vampire Orc Axemaster (another one?), follower of Manwe...

Chatter

Finished the Thieves quest and Barrow-downs, were he grew to 8 ft. The princess offered him 10 weapons, but never an axe...

He finished the Orc Caves, were he found two towns with good stores, but no potion store. Here he triggered another trap of growing (9 ft and counting), a trap of neutrality and on the last level, while shifting through the loot, he/it angered Manwe and went from +1000 to -2000 piety...

Scummed Barrow Downs 10 and the Black Market, trying to find a Rod... Found two traps of Shrinking, one of Growing, another of Neutrality instead...

Entered the Old forest, were a nice Amulet of Searching (+8) helped to avoid the traps. On one of the last levels he found a Copper Rod of Nothing. There was only one town in the forest, with a Scribe, a Library, a Forbidden Library, and a Speed Ring Market :-) Old Man Willow dropped a nice ring that covered two missing resistances.

Finished the second god quest, then went to Lothlorien and later to Mirkwood. There were two problems: lost WoR scrolls to Fire Hounds and was nearly killed by the Master Vampires (teleported away with 23 hp!)

Finished Mirkwood, then scummed the last levels to find some potions of Enlightment, without luck. Needed a few days to find the third Lost Temple, and received the first two fates. There was a nasty encounter in the Temple: 7 levelled Quilthugs in a dark room and not visible with full ESP...

After the trip, three Potions of Experience nearly doubled the experience points.

Finished the Maze, the Sandworm lair and some quests.

Still filling the Home of Minas Anor with loot from Mordor. In two consecutive levels the princess offered Fingolfin and Gimli :-) But still no axe :-(

The last quest for Nycodemons is a little too hard at the moment, I need more healing potions and a good rod for the rod-tip of healing.

I've rolled up another random character to test the RNG: Nydiewin, Yeek Hermit Mindcrafter (4 hp), follower of Melkor... (Note to self: keep the Axemaster alive)
