NeilStevens: It'd be nice, I think, if a module could have fine grained control over escorts: that is, telling the engine exactly what monsters to create. One might want make specific races be escorts, have a specific number of escorts, or perhaps give custom AI to escort monsters, I imagine.
In E Team I want officers to have appropriately ranked and number of escorts, which is what brings it up.
DarkGod: THe prolem si that you can't reference a monster in the monster files because well the monster file has not been read yet. I think the best way would be an ON_MAKE flag similar to objects for such specific things
