CosmicGerbil I have got lots of ideas for new features and stuff for Gerband and lots of people have been giving me ideas too. However a lot of the stuff I want to do can only be done in T3. So what I wondered was...is it possible yet to make a mod with the T3 Engine? How far could I go? I mean could I do a playable mod at this stage or should I wait until a Beta T3 is released.

NeilStevens: The engine is usable now, but it's not finished. The major game structures are basically rewritten, so you could start on porting your module now. That's basically what the alphas are for: get module developers involved, testing the engine and finding out what's broken and missing.

What stuff is available to test? Are races ready yet? Or monsters?

NeilStevens: The T-Engine may be ready, but the ToME module is not. If you start now, you're better off rewriting your own races, classes, etc., that or converting them on your own from ToME 2. Elsewhere in this part of the wiki there are scripts available to aid you in that task.

KhymChanur: You can check out what remains to be done for the engine at ToDo and in the todo.txt file in the source tree (or just ask) if there's some particular engine feature youre waiting for before you start implementing.

What I wanted to do first is put in my Gerband races. I need to give them their race specific flags, such as IM_FEAR and stuff. Also I need to give them their racial powers, such as mind blast and fireball. Is this possible yet?

NeilStevens: Read through the development and module development parts of the wiki to see what's going on and what's possible. Also, get a copy of ToME 3 and look at the example module it has.
