NerdanelVampire: I'm not sure if this is a bug, but having monsters shoot arrows and cast bolt spells right through their fellows seems a tad unrealistic to me. It wasn't this way in ToME, at least.
NeilStevens: It sure does make dwarves harder. As a player I'd love to see that change, but I can see it working either way. Monsters don't take up the full square. You can shoot above them and past them, especially with something like a bow or a magic bolt.
NerdanelVampire: Shooting into melee, the bane of the team-mates of bad D&D players everywhere... Even if a shooter is willing to accept a trick shot like that, there should be an increased miss chance and a chance of hitting someone other than the target. Remember that in a swordfight people don't stand still when they try to hit the other guy while trying to avoid getting hit themselves.
NeilStevens: Well I know E-Team works the way you want, a decision I made after a good 10 minutes of agonizing. So at the very least I'd like to hear DG's rationale.
DarkGod: Easy: It's much more evil this way :> "Fixed"
