Bubblegum Crisis, version 0.5.1 is now available for download from the ToME modules site: http://modules.t-o-m-e.net
While much remains to be done, as of this release Bubblegum Crisis is somewhat playable, with most major systems in place. Player feedback and bug reports are welcome and encouraged.
So go play it!
Summary of Changes from V0.5.0 to V0.5.1
This release hopefully addresses the issue some players were have getting it to run.
- Bugfixes
AI init file now uses consistent case. This is a workaround provided by EtMarc for V050's inability to run from a .team file. (And apparently, under Linux.)
- Hardsuit designer now checks to see if modules may be fitted to a particular location
- Generators are now properly marked as only installable to the torso
- Misc
- Coolant systems now reduce heat in all locations and can only be installed in the torso.
- Made most modules more expensive
- Tactical display now shows name of current target
