ToME WikiReenenLaurie: I am very noob at this module... How often can I train? I know on level 1 I can train. But after that I've died everytime before I get back to the surface.
NerdanelVampire: The answer very much depends on your version of Dragonball T. In the latest one, you use skill points to get training and you get six skill points every level. Most things take one skill point per lesson but some take more. Earlier versions didn't have it nearly as good. You should get the latest version, as it's the best one.
Sirrocco: Also, if you are usually dying before you make it back to the surface, try one of two things. Thing one: stay on level 1 of the rabbit cave for the first bit, and be prepared to run up the stairs when necessary. The rampaging hordes of bunnies should get you to level 4 or 5 relatively quickly. Thing two: stay on the surface. Head north a screen, purchase a staff or spear (bo staff is the better of the two staves) and hunt orange and yellow belts for the exp. You should get to about level 7 pretty trivially, or up to about level 12 if you're willing to let yourself get bored.
ReenenLaurie: I've gone up to level 5, and still I couldn't train again. Or is it dependant on *how* I spend my skill points? Or just level dependant? I've got the very latest version. The one that works on TEngine, Alpha12.
NerdanelVampire: Is your version (press shift-V) 0.8.2? That's the latest one, although I hear a new one is coming along shortly.
BucketMan: V083 should have been out several days ago, but for some reason, twice now the floppy disk I've used to transfer the module file has somehow magically 'gone bad' in transit. It works fine at home, but I come here to upload it and this computer claims the disk is unformatted. :/
Shoob: Why dont you use ummmmm, newer technology, or is your skill level too low? shouldn't it be easier to use a flash or a ftp/scp program to transfer files, of course I am assuming that these are both applicable to both stations? but if it is the tech skill level, i suggest you see dr. Brief...

NerdanelVampire: How did you get the one you have now? I think the easiest way would be to download from within the T-Engine (it will overwrite the old module), but you can also download manually from the ToME modules page.
ReenenLaurie: Actually it's on the modules download page. But I started downloading it, and it told me it was there already. So I never actually downloaded the new version... I just kept the old one.
NerdanelVampire: Just tell it to overwrite the file when you download it manually.
ReenenLaurie: LOL. Yes, I did that now. Actually as soon as I realised I didn't do it the first time (after you told me what the latest one is). Looks much different now. I get killed less by the others as well. Raising the stats is quite tricky though.
BucketMan: Stats basically raise the same way as skills. If you go to the spoiler help menu, and look at the 'Skill/Enrollment spoiler' it will list the training available from each school. For Int/Wil/Chr, you can go to the Robbins Foundation in the northwest section of earth.
