Snowglade Dungeons

Several of these are by nature not that unique and can be present in multiple versions. For example, ramdomly generated small throughs and casas might be scattered around the map.

The Splash

An oasis formed by a cometary impact that allowed the permafrost to melt locally and trees to grow despite the mechs' antiterraforming efforts. Agriculture is possible there and the area contains the last human village on the planet, Metropolis. Most mechs don't like to come to the Splash since the ground is not very good for their treads, but some still appear.

Abandoned human Casa

An old waystation fortress to protect travelers between Citadels from mechs. Nowadays it isn't much good for safety.

Desert

Trough

A mech waystation. It contains useful materials but is manned by mechs.

Mountains

Typical mountain dungeon with hard rock walls.

Small mech factory

Some of what they make must come useful for you.

Mech mining operation

The walls contain a lot of minerals, and some may be already mined and ready.

Ruined human Citadel

It has been overrun by mechs but may still contain something useful.

Ancient human Arcology

Humans used to live in these in the relatively good old days a long time ago. Back then their technology was more advanced than it is at the time of the game and their industrial base did not rely on stealing from mechs. A High Arcology Era artifact is a rare and valuable thing.

Caves

Mostly organic monsters.

Underground lake

Water and organic monsters.

Mech city

"Angband."

Esty

This is a very random place whose walls are solid space-time (Esty = ST = spacetime). It behaves stochastically and consists of numerous different Lanes that are sort of pocket universes and whose relation to each other changes constantly. There are all sorts of weird time dilation effects due to the proximity of a black hole and all sorts of weird other effects too.

No stairs are generated, only shafts. 50% of the generated dungeons will have no air or some other bad background effects. Some of the floor is always timestone. Wormholes (void jumpgates) may occur. Even human-friendly places often have localized effects from the Black hole physics list.

There is a wide variety of terrains and monsters, including hostile humans and aliens. Random towns can be found.
