KitaKita: haha, this is hilarious, I was just thinking about a similar project not 3 days ago. 
Great minds think alike, eh? Maybe I'll start on a "Omega" remake in TOME soonish instead.

AerdanRunestar: Yes, help would be greatly appreciated. I'll probably either set up an svn repository or ask DarkGod for a CVS repo; either way, I've started on armour recently.
AerdanRunestar: Bazaar repository information added. At this point, no bug reports will be accepted. Patches [via 'bzr diff'] will be accepted, however.
AerdanRunestar: Enough's enough; trying to reimplement Nethack exactly is akin to torture; thusly, this is now a reinterpretation of Nethack. If someone wants to run off with the data and try to reimplement Nethack themselves, though, be my guest.
