Getting There
The dungeon entrance is at the top of the Misty Mountains, on the left side. It is a total of 13 wilderness-mode paces northeast of Bree. You must be at least character level 49 to enter this dungeon. You can use the Thunderlord's Teleport to teleport to any level of it once you are level 49.
Physical Aspects
Angmar covers dungeon levels 80-90.
The layout is very similar to Sacred Land of the Mountains, with 1-space passageways leading between rooms all made out of mountain chain. Differences are that Angmar is made out of "dark mountain chain" and that the standard floor is ash, interspersed with marsh and tainted water. Staircases are all on the edge of maps.
You will be periodically hit with a weak disenchantment attack. While it does no or very little damage, if you lack disenchantment resistance it will disenchant your equipment.
Probability travel cannot be used to travel up and down levels.
Monsters
The monster base is normal, so expect to meet all types. Monsters are leveled to half the dungeon level, unless their natural level is higher.
Guardian
The guardian of Angmar is on level 90, and is Fuinur, Lord of the Haradrim. Note that he drops the Long Sword of Dernhelm.
