PeterWiersig: Completed Nirnaeth Arnoediad without genocide this time. 6 HRU, 2 AcientGreen and each and every other opponent on the screen.
I think my key to success were all the relic pieces so I could cast all spells from my Tomes. Support spells used: Stone skin, Divine Aim. I experimented with Strike to keep the baddies at a distance, but that wasn't enough. Used Tidal Wave instead. I could withstand some melee rounds with the Hrus. When completly surrounded I used Major Displacement and was lucky to be only once near monsters afterwards. Healed with mindcraft, restored mana with mindcraft, used light-jump twice.
When the Hrus were out of reach from my 10 blows I would switch to Tulkas Wave of Power instead, which gave 4 blows. I don't think I saw the low hitpoint warning once. A junkart or two of heal 700 hp would be helpful as would be more points to magic device so I don't fail 4 times in a row when activating my wand.
All in all, very entertaining.
