Monsters

Monsters, the heart of every Roguelike.

The ToME Monsters file has gotten rather large over the year, and still has a lot of Pern, Zang and Cth legacy.

The PipeDream file will have fewer monsters, but more ego-types. The "gradient" between monster levels will also get steeper. When combined with the new resist system and more HP generally, you'll have to retreat (or fight defensively) a lot more often.
