Base object types with ego properties
Contents
Introduction
There are some items in the game which, although they are not ego items, share certain of their abilities.
These items can form the bases of ego items; as examples, Thunderlord Coats of Resist Acid, Polished Dragon Scale Mails of Immunity and Frozen Bluesteel Blades (*Defender*) spring to mind.
You can read a scroll of Artifact Creation on these items provided they have no ego prefixes or suffixes.
Please note:
These items are considered by the game to be normal objects, unless they have plusses (or minuses) or form ego items. Automatizer settings can destroy them if it is not configured correctly. (just as they can destroy anything else, but I feel it bears a special mention here).

Chatter
TimmyBravo Should I be putting rings and amulets here?
FeathinSilyar Nope, not on this same page. Take a look at Spoilers/Items, actually this page should be the subpage of that one, and there should be a separate subpage then for amulets and rings.
