If you want to store essences in your home, the easiest way is to pump up a wand or staff of an appropriate type. Wands and staves can hold unlimited numbers of charges, so you can avoid being limited to 99 per slot. You do lose a small number of essences, as there is a small chance that extracting a charge does not give the full number of essences back, but it is usually worth it. It's usually better to use an item which holds a single essence type - otherwise, you end up with a stack of extra essences and nowhere to put them...
- Wand of Manathrust - Mana (4/charge)
- Wand of Noxious Cloud - Poison (1/charge)
- Wand of Fireflash - Fire (1/charge)
- Wand of Thunderstorm - Lightning (4/charge)
- Wand of Dig - Force (1/charge)
- Wand of Confuse - Confusion (1/charge)
- Wand of Essence of Speed - Time (1/charge)
- Staff of Globe of Light - Light (1/charge)
- Staff of Vision - Light (1/charge)
- Staff of Remove Curse - Life (2/charge)
- Staff or Teleportation - Teleport (1/charge)
- Staff of Healing - Extra Life (1/charge)
- Staff of Sense Hidden - Knowledge (1/charge)
