The walls in the Paths of the Dead consist of hard rock and chasms. Many of the inhabitants can pass through one or the other, so pay attention to the walls. With the right equipment you also can pass through the wall types on the level.

As might be guessed from the name, the dungeon is full of undeads. But it also refers to the specialty of the dungeon: at whiles pure anti-death energy (you get to hear this descriptive term if you happen to be blind at the moment) courses through the dungeon, restores your experience, and raises the dead. Consequently, it is dangerous to leave corpses lying around. You might end up having to kill them again - as spell-casting liches! In every case, the reanimated monster will be higher level than the original.

The dungeon guardian is Feagwath, the Undead Sorcerer.

This dungeon is especially useful to raise piety if your God likes when you kill evil or undead.
