The Crypt

The Crypt is a SpecialLevel on DungeonLevel 70 of the dungeon Angband. It contains many undead monsters, as shown on the /Map.

You start at the center of a starburst-shaped maze. Some of the walls are not real. There are a few monsters encased in glass walls which you cannot get at directly. To get from one section of the dungeon to another, you will need to use void jumpgates and examine the walls closely.

You'll find the Shadow Cloak of Luthien in this level, after making it through a maze. It is guarded by Thuringwethil, the Vampire Messenger.
