The high appetite due to regeneration is annoying, but can be balanced with slow digestion (zombie, etc). Using the racial power can keep you from dying from starvation for a while, before you find a corpse to eat. (use the 'n' to eat all once you started).
Class Ideas
There is one mage class that Troll Zombies should try: alchemist. Low INT and WIS is irrelevant. In version 2.2.7 and up, even the wand fail rates aren't affected...
Zombie trolls have the max possible hit dice of 15, and regenerate to boot. That's the ultimate melee, good for warriors and alchemists.
