Rogue Like History
First found Nethack when cruising theunderdogs.com(org, whatever) looking for free games, played that but i was kind of confused by the lack of story/help/explanation. All i got was "You are in a dungeon, get to the bottom!". Got bored, went to rogue because all the sites said nethack was based on it. Didn't much care for that either...found ADOM and liked it because of the abundance of plot...then i got my first corruption and got very angry. That and the first 5 dungeons are the same every time. I do like the skill system though, havn't played that in years. Went to a "roguelike" download list and downloaded about 30 of them...notables include Moria as well as Dungeon Crawl.
Interests
Warhammer 40k and Fantasy, Video Games in General, Science Fiction Books, books in general, history (notably American Revolution), Getting angry at politics and trying to ignore my Anarchistic tendencies since Anarchy is completely unworkable. Punk/Ska/hardcore music.
