TheFury: I have been thinking a lot about this. Using the wiki for bugs and ideas is a real pain. I think that the forum is a better use for these topics. It is easier to make a comment or topic on the forum.
Why were they changed in the first place?
NeilStevens: The forum is a piece of trash. It's impossible to manage and browse the list of reports. We constantly got duplicates. It's difficult to properly show things like screenshots. You can't link around usefully from one bug to another. You can't organize them at ALL.
The wiki is much, much, much better for bug reports. Any bug reports that go there will NOT be addressed by me, ever.
Oh, and it's pointless just to say "it's a real pain." That's not a useful point of comparison.
RedNaga: well, i've used the forum very rarely, but basically this means that i do plainly agree with Neil - the wiki allow for much more organization (and re-organization, when needed), indentation can be used to keep track of sub-discussion within the main stream - in one word, it's much more flexible.
TheFury: I guess I have touched a sore topic...
NeilStevens: You touched two, heh. I hate the forum, and I hated having bug reports there. Bug reports were one of the major reasons I started this wiki!
