MayLith: In places like Everything2, there are some interesting linking methods.
- You can just surround a word with a pair of square braces, and it's automatically a local hardlink.
- At the bottom of each page is a list of pages. These are pages which a user has surfed to after viewing the current page.
I suspect that the ToME wiki and Everything2 are completely different, structurally/codewise (especially as on E2, you can only edit your own pages) but it would be completely cool if some of those functionalities (especially the 2nd one) could be incorporated somehow...
NeilStevens: The linking here IS annoying and inconsistent. It wasn't my top priority when picking the software, that's why. I think it would be nice to get a simple, consistent way to do things, but the problem would be going back and fixing every old page on the wiki to use the new link style!
MayLith: Heh. Sort of like fixing the SpoilerArchive....
Too bad a new method couldn't be mapped over/through the old one.
